There are several activities planned for the day.
Homemade Granola/Power Bar Contest
- entries to be delivered to library by 12pm on October 22. Recipes must accompany the entries
- entries sent by mail must be delivered by October 21.

Teen Writing Workshop with Angie Abdou
- 4pm: Pizza, brownies and pop for teens
- 4:30-6pm: Writing workshop (structure to be determined by Angie)
Ask an Athlete
- 6:30pm: Local tri-athlete (Graeme Carslon & daughter Whitney) Tentative
- Questions and answers about training, nutrition and motivation.

- 7-8pm Author: Angie Abdou reading from the Bone Cage with discussion of her experience writing and becoming a published author in Canada.
- Refreshments served after discussion and winner of contest to be announced.
